Lady’s Testimony

God be praised for the things that He has done! From the pit of depression; the shame of molestation and rape, the trenches of grief, neglect, rejection and confusion a worshipping warrior was born; THAT’S ME! My purpose is to uplift; encourage and help lead those that have been in my shoes or may find themselves in seemingly impossible situations to allow their hearts to speak! Let your heart speak…God will do the rest! I decree it, declare it and I agree! Freedom is DEALING! Uncovering the past and dealing with the pain, hurt, issues and everything else that comes with it! We can never experience true freedom until we learn not to live around our issues, but to live through our issues!

For too long I was a victim. Yes, I was molested, raped neglected, rejected and battered, but that’s not my name! My name is FREEDOM! These things left me feeling maimed as if there was no reason to live; so I didn’t. I retreated into a world of  “non-existence”. I didn’t want anyone to see me! I praise God for where He has brought me from! My freedom was not an overnight process! I am because HE IS!

Getting over a wall leaves that wall right where it stands! Just as soon as your guard is down; feeling a little low, that wall gets closer and closer it’s in your face again! Going through that wall tears it down; it makes a considerable hole in the wall; it takes away the foundation, making the wall so weak that it will soon have to fall leaving no ties to this issue! Freedom – The absence of or release from all ties!

My promise to the Lord is to offer Him my sacrifice of PRAISE, according to Hebrews 13:15, it will be a sweet-smelling savor, rising from my lips and ascending to the feet of Him who created me. I will offer my BODY as a LIVING SACRIFICE according to Romans 12:1, HOLY and acceptable to Him which is MY reasonable service. I will offer myself LIVING and not dead, walking, talking and breathing HIM! I will bow her head toward the earth in perfect worship as Moses did in Exodus 34:8, worshipping ONLY HIM as God commanded in Exodus 34:14, bringing the GLORY that is due to HIS NAME and worshipping HIM in the beauty of HOLINESS as stated in I Chronicles 16:29. I will believe on HIM and be counted for righteousness as in Genesis 15:6. Finally, when tribulation surrounds me and I cannot see my way, I will be OBEDIENT to His voice and as He is a merciful God He will not forsake me, destroy me, or forget the covenant He made with me!
