Good Afternoon everyone!
I just decided to get on and say a GREAT BIG HELLO and Happy New Year to everyone! It’s been a while & I apologize for the big gap in blogs! I’m back & moving FORWARD into the newness of this year! We are 23 days in and I haven’t looked back for anything!
I didn’t make any new years’ resolutions this year. Did you? What were they and how do you plan to keep up with them this year? Did you keep up with them last year? See, that’s my main reasoning for not even going there; NOT KEEPING THEM & getting disappointed when something didn’t turn out right! Most of mine had to do with trying to fix or solve issues of the past; well, you know what? My only resolution is to NOT sulk over past mistakes, failures and the like, but to move forward into what GOD has called me to be! In previous years I looked for validation & for someone to “approve” what I was doing…I am NOT looking for anyones’ approval BUT GOD’S on this year! I was approved & equipped to do just what He called me to do before the foundation of the world – I just had to MANIFEST! Well, Here I am Lord! Ready, willing and able! What about you?
I am learning that its not about the circumstance, but about the mindset! If we can win the battle in the mind we win the WAR!!!! We MUST get to root of the mind struggle. Our past (childhood, adolescent years, yesterday) has more to do with the struggle in the mind than u know! FACE it! That’s the only way to go thru it! Don’t hide or be ashamed of the things that u suffered or are suffering! Its all for your good & your making u who you are! Its not a bad thing, just put the thoughts, memories and issues in their place! Make them the stepping stones to your freedom!
